Great game! I loved the factory level theme so much that I made a cover of it :P

My tribute to the original theme (Fear Factory by Dave Wise) of this awesome video game (Donkey Kong Country).

A Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 car that I drew in order to upload with my first :P YouTube  video of the intro tune that I covered not long ago. I was so excited for the upload that I put a ‘@’ instead of ‘.’ in my Tumblr address on the picture itself :P

MotionRide - Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 Intro (cover)

Amiga games and 80s-90s music was a huge part of my childhood. My Amiga 500 computer was also the first machine that I was trying to make music on in a software called Pro Tracker. Then on my first 486 pc my friend showed me the Impulse Tracker. It was a massive leap from 4 tracks to 64 :) Finally a few years ago browsing the web I came across OpenMPT (sometimes it’s called ModPlug), which was  a windows alternative to the great Impulse Tracker since the latter could only work well in DOS and also needed an older machine (in DOSBox it was tricky to set the speed accurate to Impulse Tracker’s recquirements). Anyway, OpenMPT reminded me how good I thought video game music was in Amiga versions of games. I mean the console ports also had great music but it often differed (Turrican 2 and Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 Amiga vs SNES is a good example) from the one on Amiga. I’ve decided that I should try to cover one of my favourite Amiga game tunes Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 Intro by Barry Leitch. Tracker software allow to put in sample loops but in my version I put in every single note with the keyboard using single note samples or recorded with my guitar (except for the part, spoiler :D, where there is a fragment of the original one). I hope my version will be as much enjoyable to Amiga fans as the great original one still is today :)

This is seriously hysterically and true.

What do you get when you merge an EU version of a popular 16-bit era video game with a sequel to a classic Sci-Fi movie?
Dyna Master Blaster
New blog logo I made with my own Legos :)
Trees’ Company
I decided to draw this one after listening to an episode of the Retroist podcast about the Three’s Company series. I have never seen the US version of the show but I really enjoyed the one we got in Poland (its title translated to English is “Roommates”).

How cool would it be if there was a homebrew NES rom of Tron Legacy game that had that in it’s soundtrack ;)
